Richmond Action offers a variety of shooting sports for every interest and skill level. Each discipline provides a unique challenge, from fast-paced pistol matches to dynamic multigun competitions. Explore our core programs to find the match that’s right for you.
The United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) is a dynamic, fast-paced action shooting sport that challenges competitors to balance accuracy, power, and speed. RRGC is home to the largest USPSA program on the West Coast, hosting tri-monthly Level I matches.
Steel Challenge is a speed-focused shooting sport that’s perfect for both new and experienced shooters. Competitors engage five steel targets per stage, shooting multiple strings with their fastest times counting toward their score. Richmond Action hosts official SCSA matches where shooters can compete in a variety of divisions and track their progress toward classification.
Join us for PCSL and Multigun matches – practical, dynamic, and challenging. Use handguns, rifles, and shotguns through diverse stages that test speed, accuracy, and strategy. Richmond Action hosts several PCSL and Multigun (UML) matches throughout the year.
Cowboy Action Shooting brings the spirit of the Old West to life with single-action revolvers, lever-action rifles, and period-appropriate attire. Richmond RoughRiders, a SASS-affiliated club, welcomes shooters of all experience levels to join the fun.
The Galactic Pistol Alliance (GPA) is a newer shooting sport designed to be challenging, yet easily understood and combines aspects of both USPSA and IDPA. Richmond has GPA matches every other month.
