DESCRIPTION:JJ Racaza Two Day Pistol Course taking place on December 15 + 16\, 2025\, at Richmond Rod & Gun Club (https://richmondaction.com/)\, located at 3155 Goodrick Avenue\, Richmond\, CA 94801. The course will take place from 8am to 4pm each day (approximate\, depends on the pace of the group). \n\nIn this two day course you will learn: the micro details of what it takes to pull a trigger fast while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Here is a quick breakdown of what we cover in class. \nCONCEPT: 90-10% \nLEVEL 1 Course: (C – GM) \nMicro-movement: \n\ntrigger control: learning the techniques of pulling the trigger faster than you ever have and achieve the same if not better accuracy/precision.\nsingle target breakdowns\nbeing present\ncalling your shots\nshooting becomes sensory which leads to instinctive shooting\nunderstanding the difference between shooting vs. movement\nrhythm/cadence fire\nvisual patience\nfar too many work on being patient when they do not yet possess the skill sets to make a good shot\, which just causes undue delay to their shooting\n\nMajor-movement: \n\ntransitions\nmultiple target breakdown\nfat line vs. bump transitions\nrhythm/cadence fire\ntiming drills\ntachypsychia\nMOVEMENTS\nentering and leaving positions\n\n– timing \n– 3 must know techniques on exits \n– 3 step entry (90%-10% concept) \n\nmindset\nvisualization\ntechniques on stage breakdown\nfield course analysis\nlevels of comprehension\nstimulus vs. response\nspeed (attack)\naccuracy (control)\ndrills to target specific skills\nShooting and Moving\nShooting while Moving\nbody positioning (stance/structure)\nfield course analysis\n3 vital techniques to apply that allows me to identify the best way to run/ attack a field course\nmental focus discussion and application\napplication\nPhases in Training (Development vs. Preparation)\nTeaching you to diagnose your own issues\, as well as being able to target your own specific self corrective actions.\nLearning how to utilize timers in a more indepth manner\, reading between the numbers.\n\nBasic shooting knowledge and range experience required.  Shooting experience of at least one year.  No age requirement.  Understanding of gun safety and range rules.  You must supply your own handgun.  Ammo requirements are approximately 500 rounds per day\, for a total of 1\,000 rounds. \nPlease bring the following to the course: \n\nFirearm\n1\,000 rounds minimum of ammo\nProper clothing for the weather\nSnacks and plenty of water\nEye and ear protection\nBelt\, weapon\, magazine holster\n\nIf this class is sold out\, please reach out to jjracazatraining@gmail.com to be added to the waitlist. \nReturn/Refund policy: Due to the unknown nature of scheduling and maintaining a minimum student count\, refunds will not be given.  Unforeseen events being what they are\, do happen and JJ Racaza Training understands that.  Depending on the amount of notice given\, JJ Racaza Training will work with you to fill your spot\, if there is a waitlist.  You will need to contact them immediately in this situation\, but there is no guarantee on your spot being filled.  If JJ Racaza Training is forced for ANY reason to cancel a course\, a full refund will be given.
